Fairagora Asia (www.fairagora.com) is a Bangkok-based consultancy firm supporting agricultural operators on either the certification process or on their journey towards sustainability improvement. We collect production, environmental, and social data with farms and processing plants to provide risk mapping and to assess the priorities for improvement areas. We then conduct workshops and provide training to the farmers. The employee will be based in Bangkok and will be responsible for the timely deliverable of Fairagora Asia (FAA) projects. He will mostly work on sustainability-specific projects in the agriculture sector. The work can be related to sustainable standards and certification advisory services (BONSUCRO, SRP, VIVE, Organic regulation, etc.) or to FAA own set of social and environmental metrics. Some of FAA projects aim at reducing the carbon footprint of farms in a client’s supply chain while improving social conditions. FAA has built a carbon footprint calculator and supports the adoption of sustainable farming practices that lead to a decrease in GHG emissions. The employee is expected to have a good starting knowledge of the methods for GHG emissions reduction. Good knowledge on HRDD is also expected.
