Junior Consultant – The PLEDGE (Intern) Looking to start a career with more purpose? Reluctant to work for an organization that does not care about the boundaries of our planet? Since 2012, we’ve been at the forefront of sustainability, working with top-tier clients like Marriott, Hyatt, Accor, GIZ, and Michelin Guide Thailand across 30+ countries. We’re passionate about what we do, and we’re looking for equally passionate individuals to join our young, dynamic team. What are we expecting from you? In close collaboration with LightBlue’s teams, the PLEDGE on Food Waste Certification’s teams and external associates, the Employee will endorse the following responsibilities: Business Development and Sales (40%): • Identifying existing business opportunities and being involved in the sales process from prospecting to closing deals. • Keep up-to-date with latest trends and market movements to explore new opportunities for business development (market research, trends & publication analysis, events, etc.). • Identify new partnerships • Explore possibilities with other type of potential customers (universities, school canteens, corporate canteens) Customer and Partnership Management (40%) • Keep the CRM up-to-date • Be in touch with customers (ensure a smooth customer journey process) • Review Audit Reports and get in touch with the Official Auditors for The PLEDGE • Be in touch with partners (Auditors, Accredited Coordinators, Accredited Consultants) Administration (20%) • Prepare, send and follow up invoices, payments, contracts, proposals etc. • Ensure the online platform is up-to-date and always accessible. • Fine tune sales material tools

Who are we looking for? Qualifications: • Masters/Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Sustainability or a related field or relevant number of years of experience. • Fluent in English • Ability to work successfully with the team, handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines • Mature, highly responsible, proactive, fast learner • A sense of humour is a plus 😊 Position Details & Compensation • We carefully train and nurture our team members; including but not limited to participation in the Food Waste Prevention Online Course (Certificate of Completion provided) • Serious credentials, working with a pioneer food waste hacking tech and consulting company • Opportunity to prepare and deliver hands-on food waste prevention projects, to train professional and provide advisory services. • 12k THB stipend We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the world and creating change through their expertise.
