Location: Hybrid (Office in Bangkok / Work From Home) Employment Type: Contractor Contract Duration: Sep, 2025 – December 31, 2025 (with potential for extension) About the Project We are seeking a technically skilled IoT Engineer to build the data pipeline for a key client project in the manufacturing sector. You will be responsible for developing the system that captures factory sensor data and delivers it for visualization in MotionBoard. This role is central to creating a compelling demo for a major industrial exhibition, with an exciting future scope that may include implementing on-device AI.

Your Responsibilities -Develop a Python application to capture or simulate sensor data relevant to a manufacturing environment (e.g., temperature, vibration, machine status). -Implement the MQTT protocol to publish data in a format optimized for consumption by MotionBoard. -Package, configure, and manage the application for deployment via the Actcast agent, handling all OS-level dependencies. -Collaborate with the Data Visualization Specialist to ensure the data pipeline seamlessly feeds the MotionBoard dashboards. -Troubleshoot and debug the end-to-end data flow, from the IoT device to the visualization layer. -Contribute to planning for future project phases, which may include camera integration and on-device AI for manufacturing use cases. Required Qualifications & Skills -Strong professional programming experience in Python. -Proven hands-on experience with Raspberry Pi or similar Linux-based single-board computers. -Practical implementation experience with the MQTT protocol. -Solid understanding of Linux OS fundamentals and library management on embedded devices. -Experience working with IoT deployment or device management platforms (direct experience with Actcast is a major advantage) -Fluent in Thai language and Good English proficiency Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications -Experience in MotionBoard -Experience with IoT applications in an industrial or manufacturing setting. -Experience with AI/ML on edge devices (e.g., TensorFlow Lite, OpenCV). -Japanese language ability.
