A pharmacist assistant (also known as a pharmacy assistant or technician) plays a supportive role in a pharmacy by assisting the pharmacist in various tasks. Assist customers at the pharmacy counter. Retrieve and prepare medications for prescriptions. Measure, package, and label medications under the pharmacist's supervision. Maintain accurate records of dispensed prescriptions. Restock shelves with medications and supplies. Keep track of inventory levels and notify the pharmacist when supplies need to be reordered. Ensure medications are stored properly and are not expired. Maintain patient files and prescription records. Assist with billing and other clerical tasks. Keep the pharmacy clean and well-organized
